About us

Finnair, one of the world's oldest operating airlines, was established on 1st November, 1923. From its inception was founded Finnair Technical Services, since no aircraft can fly without maintenance.

Our first maintenance actions were carried out to a Junkers F13 under the open sky by the only pilot and the only mechanic of the company; today ca 1600 experienced professionals are taking care of our customers' aircraft in our modern maintenance facilities at Helsinki Airport.

Full Maintenance Service – Nose to Tail

Our business unit is formed by two Finnair Group subsidiaries; Finnair Technical Services Ltd and Finnair Engine Services Ltd. Finnair Technical Services’ core business is aircraft and component repair and overhaul. The latter focuses on engine and landing gear repair and overhaul. Together these companies provide full maintenance service to our customers.
